DIRT WOMAN BLUES
A blues singer of real integrity
Gráinne Duffy is an Irish contemporary rock artist whose powerful voice is rooted in blues and soul. Drawing from a deep well of classic rock ’n’ roll influences — including The Rolling Stones, The Faces, Fleetwood Mac and The Allman Brothers — her music blends raw emotion with melodic craftsmanship.
Her forthcoming album features an exceptional all-star lineup: Marc Ford (The Black Crowes, Lucinda Williams) on production and guitar, Kenny Aronoff (John Fogerty, Elton John) on drums, Jorgen Carlsson (Gov’t Mule) on bass, longtime collaborator Paul Sherry on vocals and guitar, and Justin Stanley (Eric Clapton, Bad Bunny) on co-production and engineering. The result is a collection of emotionally direct rock ’n’ roll songs, driven by carefully crafted lyrics, memorable hooks and intertwining guitars reminiscent of early Faces recordings.
Following the release of her 2023 album Dirt Woman Blues, Duffy established herself internationally as a touring artist, performing across major stages and festivals. In the United States she appeared at Telluride Blues & Brews, Mammoth Bluesapalooza and the WC Handy Blues Festival, alongside strong radio success on the Roots Music Report charts. The album reached #1 on the USA RMR Top 50 for seven consecutive weeks, #2 in Australia’s Top 30, and #2 on the UK IBBA Top 40.
Previously, Duffy has headlined and performed at major international festivals including Mahindra Blues Festival (India), Woodford Folk Festival (Australia), Tremblant Festival (Canada), as well as Glastonbury and Cornbury Festival in the UK.
Her new album is scheduled for release in May 2026, with the lead single “Love on the Streets” — a call for harmony in an increasingly unstable world — due for release in February on all streaming platforms and in physical format at upcoming live dates.
